Along with the rest of the country, #RLAH took a few minutes out of the day to stare up at the sky (with NASA-approved eclipse glasses, of course) for the 2017 full solar eclipse. However, some forgot to get their special glasses and were stuck watching it on TV rather than burning out their retinas. While the DMV only saw about an 80% eclipse, streets and rooftops were crowded with eager viewers for this once-a-decade event.
