Several RLAH agents traveled to San Diego this past weekend, along with President Justin Levitch, for the annual National Association of REALTORSĀ® Conference and Expo.  Since 1908, REALTORSĀ® have come together to share and explore key industry insights, advancements, and practical applications across the real estate industry.

Weā€™re incredibly proud of RLAH agents who hold leadership positions within NAR who spoke at the conference and/or attended. This included Bonnie Roberts-Burke, NARā€™s 2021 Regional Vice President for Region 3 and Colin Johnson, NARā€™s MLS Forum Chair.

Other NAR leaders in attendance included, Molly Branson, NARā€™s 2021 30 Under 30 Recipient, Chris Suranna, NAR's Board of Director Representative for DC and Michelle Doherty, 2021 NAR YPN Advisory Board Member and upcoming RPAC Major Investor Committee Representative for DC.

By attending the conference, RLAH agents were able to learn whatā€™s new and next in real estate, how to incorporate that into their business and more. Through networking and engaging informational sessions, agents left with important takeaways.

Some major industry decisions were debated and decided at this conference as well. The NAR Board of Directors on Monday approved several multiple listing service policy proposals, including one that requires MLS to allow brokers and agents to display buyer broker commissions. The board also decided to require the display of a listing brokerā€™s phone number or email address next to listings on agent and broker websites. Also, the REALTORĀ® trade group installed its new volunteer leadership and for the first time in its history, the NAR will be lead by a leadership team that is majority-female, including its president.
